So as usual I haven't written a blog in a really long time
and once again it is because nothing ever happens
but I guess I'll update about what's going on in my life this week
Our spring musical is the Wizard of Oz
and since I've already done it, I didn't feel like doing it again, so I decided to be in the pit!
yay! the music is really hard, but it's fun and challenging
This past week we've been having 5-9 rehersals ugh
but we performed Thursday and last night and they both went really well
we perform again tonight so that's what I have been up to

So as you know, yesterday was Valentine's day

Now I will tell you how mine went:

First I woke up
ok just kidding, I shall not bore you that much
anyway
well We didn't have school on Friday, so Dante and I were gonna play tennis,
but my mother decided to take the van and my father was at work, therefore me=no vehicle therefore no tennis
So we decided to do something on Saturday instead, not because of Vday,but because of boredom.
We had a band thing from 2-5 so we were actually together for most of that time, then when I got home, he texted me asking if I wanted to go to Coraline (creepiest movie ever btw =P) with him and Dana,
Before you AWWW, I should tell you that it is a common occurance for the three of us to go to movies together on Saturday nights, but
he asked me if I could give him a ride, I asked him why Dana couldn't give him a ride (she lives wayyy closer)
Him: well she could....
Me: well it would be closer
Him: ok fine geez i was gonna give you something
*swoon from me*
Me: o well i can give you a ride
Him: no its ok
-basic end of convo-
Then once they got there he gave me a gift bag,
i didn't open it there for awkwardness reasons
then we watched the movie and left
once i got in the car, I imediatly opened the gift
-now for the AWWing
Inside the prettiful stiped gift bag was a heart shaped box of chocolates
on top was a smaller box,
inside was a necklace with a heart on it!
I quickly texted him thanking him
he said No problem I thought you'd like it

I've worn it for the past days, and I plan on wearing it ice skating tomorrow

TWIRP

So since I told you about asking Dante to TWIRP, I thought it would only be fitting to tell you how it went.

So I was the only person in my group of friends who had a date, therefore, we didn't know anyone else who was going.... problem

so for like a week, we tried to figure out who we were going with and where we were gonna eat and such like that. The day before the dance we finally figured things out. A group of my girl friends would come with us to the Thai House.

Before I go off and tell you about dinner, I will tell you about my shoe dilemma. So my dress is blue right? and I only have black heels, and black doesn't go with blue, so I went to the mall to get some shoes, but I couldn't find any, so I told Anna, and she raided her sisters closet and brought me 3 pairs of shoes, guess what, none of them fit! this is 2 days before the dance. The next day she brought some more, but still, they didn't match. So Saturday morning, the day of the dance, my mom and I went to Plato's closet, like goodwill for name brands in case you didn't know. And I found these really cute shoes. So I got them, and that is the story of how I got my shoes the day of the dance.

Now I will finish the story. So I drive to Dante's house at 5:30, his parents and sister meet me for the first time, and they take a few pictures, and then we leave. This is like 5:45 now, so we leave thinking, oh we have plenty of time to get across town for our 6:00 reservation. We got lost. well sorta, we missed our turn. and long story short, we got there at 6:10, but we were still the first people from our group to get there.

Once everyone got there, we ordered and ate, and it was yummy. Then it was 7:40 and the dance started at 8, so we went to Kaitlin's to get some movies, then to Anna's. we chilled there for a while, and didn't get to the dance til 8:45. oops... any way

Now for the part you've all been waiting for....

so we get there and its like ...OK... now what. So we get in line to get our pictures taken and realize that we don't have enough $, so we go get some from a frosh. then we got our pics taken. Then we go to the dance part. we find some freshman that we know and kinda say OMG UR SO CUTE and such like that. then they're all dancing and Dante and I just kinda stand there swaying back and forth awkwardly. then eventually we start getting more into it. He puts out his hands and I grab them, then we danced. We jumped up and down and danced together. After a few songs, a slow one comes on. Exactly what I was dreading and hoping for. We look awkwardly at each other then silently decide to dance.

*flashback* When I dated Allan, slow dancing, I just put my hands on his shoulders and his hands on my hips, so we were a good foot away from each other.
*back to story* Dante put his hands on my hips, and I decided to go up a notch from Allan, and put my arms around his neck. Then gradually, he started getting closer and closer, then I started getting closer. til we were all the way touching. We were basically in a giant hug for most of the song (which I didn't even know!!!) and it was really nice =] When it was done I thought it would be weird, but it wasn't, we just went and got a drink of water. then danced some more. Unfortunately, there were no other slow songs while we were there.

at 10:30, we decided to leave and go to Anna's loser party, where all our friends without dates were chilling, we played cards for awhile until I had to take Dante home. I took him home, and he said he had fun and said thanks for asking him.

So I didn't exactly wanna carry my camera around while we were dancing, so *don't shoot me!* I don't have any pics.
at the moment, once he sends me the ones his mom took, then I will show them to you

So that is how my TWIRP dance went
I would have to say that it was very fun!

Hello there
so i haven't written on my blog for over a month
and i feel kinda bad about it
but i really don't have nearly as much going on in my life you most of you guys do

so i though i'd update you on what's been happening
So over Christmas break I went to Florida with the band
and it was soooooo much fun, I am so glad I got to go
Then I got to cut 6 hours of driving out of my day by having the busses stop and let me off!
Later that night, I kinda had a party,
I invited a few people over including Dante
We played guitar hero and apples to apples
I don't know about them, but I had a great time.
Then school started again
Our first day back we had to make up our last final because we had a snow day on the day before break started.
That Tuesday I had homework in every class, this reminded me how much I dislike school.
After a while things started to get better

So there's this dance coming up in Feb.
It's called TWIRP (the women is requested to pay) yes i know its lame
anyway, it's a Sadie Hawkins
This girl Ally (who I have never spoken to but who hates me because she thinks Dante and I are secretly dating) asked Dante to the dance, but she actually has a bf, so he said no
The next day, one of his friends told me to ask him, so later that night
I asked him!
OMG i was so nervous!
but guess what! he said yes!!!
so that is the story of how I am going to TWIRP with Dante

I get to go to Florida for the band trip!!!!!!!
I'm super pumped!!
